Ogni anno mi regalo almeno un libro in lingua. Quest'anno me ne sono regalata due, scelti sia per l'argomento che per le copertine.
Non sono carinissime? Poi hanno la grandezza giusta per essere in borsa, quando sono in attesa, mi piace avere da leggere per passare il tempo. In questo caso leggo, mantengo la conoscenza della lingua, mi esercito nella comprensione e imparo nuove parole. Non male direi!

Mi è piaciuto lo stile narrativo e i piccoli consigli, che aiutano a risparmiare senza modifiche enormi. Perché molti sono convinti che per una bella vita occorra spendere, ma se hai un budget da rispettare allora non puoi avere una bella vita? Idea sbagliata e questo libro, come altre testimonianze trovate nel magico mondo del web e io stessa ho una vita bella e piena. Eppure ho un budget da rispettare, non vado nei ristoranti stellati (non saprei neanche come comportarmi e avrei paura di rompere qualcosa), non sono una grande fan degli abiti griffati e adoro la mia casetta nel bosco, il mio zoo peloso, fare la spesa il sabato mattina dopo la colazione al bar con mia madre, mi piace fare lunghe passeggiate nel bosco vicino casa e mi piace avere le giornate /serate con gli amici. Quindi si è possibile avere una vita piena nonostante un budget limitato.
Ti è piaciuto il libro? Sì, è stato un buon esercizio di lettura e comprensione in inglese, ho annotato anche qualche consiglio e devo dire che molte delle cose le trovo semplici, utili e decisamente fattibili

Guarda, se uno basa la felicità della propria vita su ristoranti stellati e abiti griffati sta messo parecchio male secondo me!

Ok, mi piacciono le cose belle (ovvio!), ma non è che siano fondamentali per la mia felicità! Se me le posso permettere bene, se no è uguale, ma chi se ne importa!
(quanto ai ristoranti stellati, a me importa meno di zero già di andare al ristorante, figurati a spendere un'esagerazione per mangiare qualcosa che non so nemmeno se mi piacerà - e sono abbastanza criticona con i sapori strani-...)
Per me l'unico settore in cui mi sentirei di spendere un pò di più sono le passioni/hobby e i viaggi: dato che non abbiamo tempo e soldi illimitati ed il mondo è molto più grande e interessante di quanto possa sperre di vedere in tutta la mia vita, se devo fare un viaggio voglio farlo come si deve, spendendoci quanto serve per vedere tutto quello che c'è da vedere e fare tutto quello che c'è da fare perchè presumibilmente in quel posto non ci tornerò mai più.
Per il resto le esagerazioni consumiste non piacciono nemmeno a me, e dimostrano solo un gran vuoto interiore e nella propria vita.
Comunque sai che anche io ogni tanto leggo un libro in un'altra lingua (di solito inglese e spagnolo, ho provato con il francese ma non mi ricordo quasi niente e risulta troppo faticoso), tanto per tenermi allenata?

Calcola che io ho la maturità turistica, ho fatto inglese e tedesco come lingue straniere ma di tedesco non ricordo una mazza. Il libro mi è piaciuto in primis per la copertina, ma se guardi i libri dell'autrice sono tutte belle le copertine e in secondo luogo mi sono è piaciuto come anche lei ha dimostrato che non è esibendo marchi super griffati è fare la bella vita. Ieri dopo un pomeriggio in piscina con un'amica, una doccia mi sono infilata il pigiama e mi sono goduta casa. #enjoythelittlethings
