5 INGREDIENTS SALADS

A lot of time I asked for a determined dish in restaurant in a determined method, yes a sort of Sally from Henry met Sally movie when she asks detailed, well if I am going to pay I want to pay for something I really like and have a real taste, in the past I ate foods without taste, now that is a really good season for veggies and maybe as me you don't want to spend a lot of time cooking, chose simple receipes and I have a cookbook that is called 5 ingredients, you can chose and put only 5 ingredients on it.

In this season I love salads, not only with lettuce, but a good combination of carb, proteins and veggies a complete meal in one dish.

Do you want to have a nice dinner with your hubby/wife but you don't waste your time cooking ( also because with hot temperature is not so funny) try 

Shrimps & papaya's salad.

you need :
600 gr schrimps cleaned and boiled
1 cleaned papaya
4 spoon of oil
4 spoon of limes juice
150 gr salad

Mix the oil e the lime's juice in a bowl, cut papaya in little cubes and add in the bowl, Add shrimps, sald a bunch of salt (if you want) and stir. Done, in 5 minutes you have a delicious fresh and colourful dish. (ingredients serve 4)


Last week I was with a friend of mine during lunch break ans she was eating a simple green salad, boring and whe said that was because she was on diet for a special night date, however I suggested her a sald that is really good for who is on a diet:

Spinach, grapefruit and olives

you need:
200gr baby spinach
3 grapefruits
50 gr black olives
1 little red onion chopped
4 spoons of olive oil

Mix together spinach, olives, onion in a big bowl, clean the grapefruites, chopping them in slices, using the juice and mixing it with olive oil and the grapefruit juice, if is necessary put a bunch of salt.
fresh, colourful and light, perfect for who is on diet.



Another thing I have noticed is that a lot of person still buy their lunch daily, because they say that they don't have enough time to prepare, why don't prepare it the night before? Considering that a normal salad in Mc Donalds cost around €6, it is a weekly cost of 30, a monthly cost of €120 that in a year became € 1440, home made meal is almost free, yes you pay in grocery but having a good meal plan you don't overspend on food and you are sure to eat healty food...
